WHO WE ARE:

The Glennon Guild is a group of dedicated members that supports SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and its Foundation to advocate for the children and assist the hospital in raising funds to meet its greatest needs.  The Guild has made a significant impact on the hospital's ability to serve children's needs through volunteering and raising millions of dollars for essential equipment and programs.  The Glennon Guild Junior Board (GGJB) is a "working board" arm of the broader Guild.  Junior Board members are actively engaged in fundraising and providing resources to the hospital.  The Junior Board is composed of Executive Board Members and Ambassador Members.

MISSION:

The mission of the GGJB is to serve, promote and support the needs of Cardinal Glennon patients, and to provide student members with meaningful, hands-on opportunities to develop philanthropic skills. 

MEMBERSHIP:

• 116 Executives and 161 Ambassadors from 16 high schools throughout Missouri and Illinois.  
• Executive Board Members: A limited number of applicants from each school will be selected to serve as Executive Members on the 2026-2027 Junior Board.  Executive Members attend all-school meetings.  They also lead service activities at their individual schools and recruit/organize/motivate their Ambassador Members.
• Ambassador Members: Other interested students who apply will serve as Ambassadors who help Executive Members carry out the various activities at their school. Ambassadors do not attend the all-school meetings.

ACTIVITIES:

Members learn about philanthropy and organize projects benefiting Glennon Kids.  During the 25-26 school year, more than 800 coats, myriad activity sets, books, baby wipes and other supplies for the Glennon Resource Room were delivered to the hospital; and $4,244 was raised.  Members also volunteered for numerous Glennon Guild activities - selling gift tags, helping at Deck the Halls house tour, and sorting donated toys at the hospital Foundation Office among other endeavors. 

MEETINGS:

Three all-school meetings are held throughout the year to inform Executive Members about needs of Glennon families, ways they can help, and the impact of their efforts. Dates for the 2026-2027 school year are coming soon!
